Vaccinations are one of the simplest, most effective ways to help protect your health. At Marketplace Medical & Skin Clinic, our GPs and nurses provide vaccinations for all ages – from childhood immunisations and flu shots to adult boosters and travel vaccines – at our clinic in Hope Island.

Many vaccinations in Australia are provided through the National Immunisation Program (NIP), which funds free vaccines for eligible people across different life stages. We can check whether you and your family are up to date, catch up any missed vaccines, and advise what’s recommended for you
Routine childhood vaccines under the National Immunisation Program, plus catch-up vaccinations if any have been missed.
Annual flu vaccinations to help reduce your risk of influenza – free under the NIP for eligible groups (including over-65s, pregnant women, young children, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and people with certain medical conditions), and available to others.
Boosters and catch-up vaccines for adults – including tetanus, whooping cough (pertussis), shingles and others as recommended for your age and health.
COVID-19 vaccinations for eligible people, in line with current national advice.
Pre-travel vaccinations and advice tailored to your destination, through our Travel Health Clinic.

Some vaccines (for example, certain travel vaccines or vaccines for those outside the funded groups) may have a cost. Our reception team can let you know what’s funded and any out-of-pocket costs before your appointment.
If you’re unsure what you’re due for, our team can check the Australian Immunisation Register and advise.
